HMD Global, slightly more than a month after introducing its new smartphones, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and the new Nokia 6 at the MWC 2018 conference, has finally brought them in India. The trio is a part of the five-phone line up the company introduced at MWC 2018 conference. Out of the five, Nokia 1 has already been launched in the country and Nokia 8110 4G is yet to arrive.
Nokia 8 Sirocco price and offersPriced at Rs 49,999, Nokia 8 Sirocco can be pre-booked starting April 20 from select retail stores including Poorvika, Croma, Reliance and online stores including Nokia’s own store and Flipkart. Airtel users buying the Nokia 8 Sirocco will get additional data benefit of 120GB. While prepaid users can get 20GB additional data on first 6 recharges of Rs 199 and Rs 349, postpaid users get the same amount of data on Rs 399 and Rs 499 plan for 6 months. This also includes extended free subscription of Airtel TV app till December 31, 2018. ICICI Bank customers will get 5% cashback. No-cost EMI and discount on MakeMyTrip hotel bookings will also be available.
Nokia 7 Plus price and offers
Nokia 7 Plus will cost you Rs 25,999 and can be pre-booked starting April 20 from Nokia shop website and Amazon India alongside select retail outlets (same as that for Nokia 8 Sirocco). Here, Airtel users can get a cashback of up to Rs 2000 as a part of the telecom firm’s ‘Mera Pehla Phone’ initiative. Extended subscription of Airtel TV app can be availed by the customers. ICICI Bank customers will get 5% cashback and no-cost EMIs are also there.
New Nokia 6 price and offers
New Nokia 6 is priced at Rs 16,999 and will be available starting April 6 from Nokia shop and other leading stores across the country. The Rs 2000 cashback offer (‘Mera Pehla Phone’ initiative) by Airtel and extended Airtel TV subscription is also available on the handset. Users will also get discount on MakeMyTrip hotel bookings. In addition to this, new Nokia 6 buyers will be eligible for a complimentary 12-month accidental damage insurance. No-cost EMI options and cashback on ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finserv cards are also applicable.

It has a 5.5-inch QHD pOLED screen that is curved from the sides. What powers the smartphone is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB RAM. Although users get 128GB inbuilt storage, unfortunately, there is no microSD card support. The dual rear camera setup includes a 12MP (wide) with 13MP (telephoto) sensor powered by Zeiss optics. Selfie lovers get a 5MP camera at the front. Backing the Nokia 8 Sirocco is a 3260mAh battery.

The handset doesn’t feature as beastly specs as the Nokia 8 Sirocco but still can be considered as a competitor in the mid-range segment. It has a 6-inch full HD+ IPS LCD screen and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage (with microSD card support up to 256GB). Here also you get a dual rear camera setup with 12MP+13MP sensors alongside a 16MP front-facing camera. It has more battery capacity than the Sirocco – 3800mAh.
